Cheia - day I and day II (or days I and II)

So... not enough bandwidth and time to write a long story, but I can drop in some photos from my first day in Cheia, Prahova County.

In a sunny Friday, the Small Giant started on a wonderful journey:

The sun was up, the snow just right, so we visited the famous Suzana Monastery:

And then arrived at our residences for the holiday: The "Floarea Reginei" Vila
Where we had all the ingredients for feeling good:

And even the nature had something in store for us - in the evening it started to snow!

Day II

So… Cheia. Small village on Teleajen river valley. Still did not located the river – seen a small spring, all frozen, very interesting (photo above). In the first day I had a soup, and in the evening a beer – maybe I should not taken that one… I do have a kind of hangover now. However, I’ve been sleeping for 10 hours, not a very refreshing sleep as I had nightmares, but that was just the first night, I just now start to unwind.

We are 4 girls, three from Bucharest one from Vaslui. We share a two room penthouse apartment. However, it is one of the worst penthouse designs I’ve seen and I am starting to hate the slight inclination of the walls… especially in the bathroom where you can’t actually stand for a shower and when you look in the mirror you have the sensations the entire bath it will collapse over you. But beside from that, the apartment is gorgeous, and me and my roomy have a large matrimonial bed and a nice view over a… hill.

The rest of the group is made of couples – some of them with children and some pregnant. We are the only ones making a difference, so to speak ;-)
