You can take a girl out of Belgium, but you can't take the Belgian Beer out of her
So, the day before Christmas. Several of my bones are acheing and I think I'm coming down with a nasty cold. Well, it serves me right after being to the skating ring daily for the last week... I think I've never skated so much in my entire life!
Got a new pair of skates (I couldn't believe myself that I've done it, but here they are, shiny and new, and they fit me perfectly!). Now all I have to do is to learn how to skate ;-)
So I pretty much wrapped up the urgent business stuff and I can now start planning the next year strategy - I getting tired myself of saying that, hmm... not good. Anyway, this year also marked my debut not only as an entrepreneur but also as an editor, even though the book will come out of the printing shop early next year.
So skating took some of my daily time. The evenings were a celebration of the Belgian spirit :-) Local beer, such as my all-time-favourite, Kriek (unfortunately, not the Leffe radieuse, another of my favourites - you should definity check out that link!). So, time flew by so quickly... and tomorrow is Christmas.
Still not decided what I want for Christmas... I think this whole year was a Christmas gift for me. If I would take some time and think about this I think that what I want for Christmas is to go away for a while next year - go somewhere really far away. Australia and Japan are two good destinations. Anyway, I already know that I will spend some time in Brussels next year, it is just a matter of... time. Time is my best friend and my worst enemy this days.
