EPSO again

Today I set the third EPSO competition since I'm pregnant. Well, is something to tell my kids about, later in the years to come, because I was such a mess I can't only laugh at myself. It's been an AST competition, so I should have done pretty well, right? Well, not exactly. At the EU questions part, I had troubles remembering things I've read just hours before. The best part was the verbal & numerical - at one question I calculated the percentage of the year instead of the population! And at another one I just did not know how to calculate the percentage of growth between to given numbers! I was just staring at the questions, which were, needless to say, pretty basic, not involving more than one type of arithmetical operation per question. So at some point I realized I was running out of time! This was a first! The verbal & numerical section was always my strong part in the EU competitions, always getting at least 75% done correctly - and the mistakes being most often out of lack of attention, not because of lack of knowledge!

So, my whole world was put to a test today. My partner says that the fact that I actually made it to the competition, being 9 months pregnant, should be enough in itself (and by the way, it was the first time when I actually took the 5 minutes break between the 2 parts of the test - for going to the toilet, of course!). Well, I would have been more proud of myself if I would have actually done the questions right...

Also, today the baby dropped - which means I'm one step closer to the ultimate goal!
