Job searching

I have applied for 2 jobs so far and signed up for two career fairs. However, I am strongly aware that in my situation I should have applied for 200 jobs by now. I am a foreigner in a foreign country and I did spend the last two years in another country. So my contacts in Belgium are not as up to date as they use to be…

Now I have another dilemma: a company advertises two jobs – one I like more, but involves more physical activities; the other I like less, but it involves more drafting and phone conversations. So, considering my lack of appetite for physical movement at this particular time of my life… what should I do? I know I would normally do a better job on the position I like, however, the health and family circumstances have to be considered here too… :-(

So… I guess the quantity of uncertainty in my life at this moment is reaching a critical mass ;-) If I ever wanted to live life to the max, I guess I have it all now. Even I am curious what’s gonna happen next ;-)

Today was an awful day – it rained and we had workers on the 4th floor, to change the fire alarm cables. I just hope they are not going to come tomorrow again, because I am tired of so much noise and disturbances. I even cut my finger cutting bred at dinner assist! I don’t think I ever cut my fingers cutting bread… or cutting anything else – it was just the grand finale for such a perfect day! :-D
