Winter. Haribo. Boyfriend weekend ahead ;-)

Winter is coming to Belgium. Today we had a rain/snow combination. Discussing the Belgian weather is a normal thing here – and as I was complaining about freezing while going to buy a bus ticket, I said something like “tomorrow will be sun”. And I got a puzzled face from my interlocutor – will be what? Sun! I had to explain in sign language what sun is… and then I got an “Oh, sun!”. Well, it is true that we haven’t seen any sun lately so it is kind of normal to start forgetting the word for the yellow thing that might be from time to time in the sky ;-)

I hardly resisted stopping by a shop and buying my favourite Haribo jellies – I only like the peach ones, which is strange because I am not much of a peach fan. However, my doctor told my to go easy on sweets – which is a bit difficult, given the fact that Belgium is famous for its chocolate… By the way did you know you can buy Haribo Peach on eBay?!

My boyfriend is coming to visit me this weekend… so I will not be blogging much until Tuesday, I’ll show him around the city (if it does not rain)… or around the house if it does rain.
