Brussels - Info Day - conlusions

Overall, I am not that pleased with my participation at the LLL InfoDay. The Grundtvig presentation was a total bullshit and they finished 10 minutes earlier. I am still confused about what program is financing what. Presentations were done too fast and no time for questions was envisaged. In the rooms was cold, still I was falling asleep. Almost all the speakers made references to the coffee breaks.

It has been almost impossible to find a partner, as the "find a partner" notes were on a board, hand-written (sometimes difficult to read) and one could not get in person to the person that posted it. So, from this point of view, a waste a time. I just wanted for the day to be over so I could sleep - nothing was making sense anymore. I have this strong feeling that I am missing something, or that I am not cut out to write or even design projects to be funded by EU. I loved working for EUREF project so I am amazed at my own lack of enthusiasm. Maybe it's just that I am growing old.

However, at least 2 main goals of my visit to Brussels have been reached:
- I made the first step towards establishing a Pro Action Europe framework in Romania, and I hope I can have an active circle by the beginning of the summer. The next step will be to attend another session in Brussels but this time to look at things as an organizer, not just as a participant. This was one of my new year's resolutions so I am happy things are moving in the right direction.

- My idea of writing a book found a good echo in those I've been talking with and I am now drafting a provisional calendar for it (not yet the whole content page, but we are slowly getting there). Anyway, the plan is to have it in the libraries by September, so I can have the end of the year free for the next book, this time on V&N tests.
